NATIONAL
THEME
Remembering the
Unknown...
The theme for Veterans Day 2021 is centered on the centennial commemoration of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Located at Arlington National Cemetery, the Tomb was initially dedicated by the Army on Armistice Day, November 11, 1921, with the burial of an unknown service member from World War I.
The Tarrant County Veterans Council invites North Texans to help make this the best tribute yet through their gifts of time, talent and money.
Volunteers and supporters are needed to help with all aspects of this year's event. They ensure its success. Planning, coordinating, advising and executing are all critical elements and starts months before the event and run through our salute day.
